Who We Are
The Lower Columbia College Faculty Association of Higher Education is a nationally recognized collective bargaining association. LCCFAHE is a member of the Washington Education Association and as such is also a member of the National Education Association.
Membership in the LCCFAHE is open to any present or retired faculty member employed by Lower Columbia College. Membership is not required and all faculty, whether teaching or non-teaching, are equally represented by the association.
Association representatives include a president, vice-president, vice-president of adjunct of affairs, treasurer, secretary, director of communications, and five general representatives of the Executive Council. Representation is conducted by leaders, annually elected by the voting members each year.
To be a voting member, faculty must apply for membership to the Association and pay monthly dues. Dues are deducted from the faculty members paycheck. Dues are prorated for adjunct faculty members and retired faculty members.
The Lower Columbia College Faculty Association of Higher Education is open to all faculty members employed by or retired from Lower Columbia College and does not discriminate for any reason.
